Full On - Full Time

It's official, a new season of life...God is good! I realize my need of His strength as we continue to serve and follow Him. On the drive home from New Orleans after my first day of class last week this thought hit me: I am a full-time husband and dad; I am a full-time youth pastor and associate at church; and now, a full-time student commuting to New Orleans.

Each of these requires a lot of time. Can't tell how much, but full-time always = a lot of time.

Every week has 168 hours. No matter how you shake it, that is all that will come out. Sounds like a lot of hours, but it isn't. This is the equation that I must keep balanced for probably the next several years:

 3(full-time) + lagniappe <= 168 hours/week

I am fully confident that it happen, and even more, God will make this into a fruitful and exciting journey for my family and me.  Please pray...as I am fully aware that, of myself, I am incapable of doing any one of these full-time's well.

So...Lord, wife, kids, church, school...let's rock and roll!
