Hello Again

Just thinking I would like to hit the blog again...it has been quite a while. So, I'll say that not much has changed....I guess there is some testimony to share on second thought.

First, we sold our house. Yep, that's right. We loved that house. Melissa and I felt the LORD was leading us to sell our house. We weren't real sure why to begin with, but we knew it was best to step out in faith and do it. We listed it and the day after the pictures went online we had two calls from people who made appointments for the next day to look at it. They were both interested, and before the next day we had our house sold!

That was confirmation of God's leading. We thought it may take a while to sell, but Melissa did pray before we listed it that the first people who came to look at it would buy it...He answered. As of the end of last week we have a contract to buy another house in town to fix up. There is a testimony in the way this one has come about but I will save it until we live there and all is done...At the very least this was a great move for us financially. It makes us able to do so much more in serving God. It has been a good thing for our family to grow together in following God's leadership.

Also, this is my final semester of my Masters of Divinity degree at New Orleans Seminary. I graduate in May, but it will be a lot of work till then. Recently I took up a new hobby as well. I started SCUBA diving. Currently I am working on my level 1 open water certification through PDIC under the instruction of David Baylis at Liquid Planet Divers. We are planning our open waters dive toward the end of March in Florida.
